    This 60-minute training is aimed at Teaching Assistants in KS1 and 2 who are working with children who have not yet mastered number facts within 20.
     
    In this session, we will look at developing automaticity with number facts within 20 using a range of manipulatives. If children are secure or at least have efficient strategies to derive these, then it is more likely they will be able to access related skills such as the formal methods for addition and subtraction.
