Beyond the School Council- Making Pupil Voice Meaningful

This 65 minute pre-recorded training is designed to widen pupil voice beyond the school council. The training looks at the reasons for developing effective pupil voice in schools and consider ways in which it can be implemented. A range of practical strategies are demonstrated that can be used to ensure we are inclusive of all groups in the school community.
 
Course Content:
Including pupil voice in school improvement
Where are you at? Using a pupil voice audit;
Using Pupil voice to develop leadership and management/ teaching and learning;
The range of topics children could participate in and how this might be managed;
How to develop ways to engage children in consultation
How to include everyone in pupil voice activities
Using pupil voice to improve lunchtimes, playtimes and extra-curricular activities;
Challenges around Pupil Voice
