How do you ensure that your classroom and learning environment are accessible to the pupils in your class?
This 70 minute prerecorded course considers the variety of factors to consider when setting up your classroom to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
Participants will reflect on how to make the learning environment accessible to pupils in the areas of communication, cognition and learning, social interaction and physical/ sensory needs.
In addition to the physical environment we will consider the importance of language, the role of adults in the classroom and technology.
The course is accompanied by a booklet containing summary information and signposting to further resources in one convenient document.
